The trick is to start with one, yes only one! Because if you are not updating it regularly nothing is going to happen. Even your website should see some action on a regular basis!
Otherwise, it’s not news. You wouldn’t subscribe to the newspaper if they didn’t have different and interesting stories on a regular basis, right?
Okay so where do you start, on which media?? You should explore…
- Where does you audience frequent, reside online – are they Facebook folks, Blog people, Tweeters, Tumblrs, etc.?
- Where do other authors in the same genre as your book post?
- What platform are you comfortable with, is easy for you to access and post to – works the way you do?
From here, as you get more comfortable, you can expand — then the key is a strategic plan so it all fits together and leads back to business/book sales you want and/or audience interaction to get feedback on your next book -:)
